3 x Gasokol Tec Sol flat plate solar panels (6m2) installed in Wicklow by Sol Systems. These are on-roof solar panels mounted on top of the roof tiles.

These panels are heating a 200L cylinder, normally 4m2 of flat plate solar panel would suffice but the orientation of the roof here is East/West.  We weren't able to install an east/west system so chose the west facing roof and enlarged the surface area of the array to 6m2 to cater for the inefficiency introduced.  System is working well.

These are the rails to which the solar panels are secured.  Once these are installed it is only a matter of sliding the solar panels into a groove and screwing themto the profile.  Very easy installation..
